Medical evening: coordinating the post-stroke patient pathway
Posted on 11/16/2023A convivial evening for the 3rd Soirée Médicale de l'Hôpital Privé d'Evry on the theme of multidisciplinary rehabilitation management of stroke.
The event, organised by the medical and paramedical teams from the Champs Elysées Functional Rehabilitation Centre (CRF), the Centre Hospitalier Sud Francilien (CHSF) and the Essonne Departmental Delegation, provided an opportunity to learn about the latest advances in the field and to exchange ideas with other healthcare professionals.
During 2023, 500 post-stroke patients will be able to benefit from high-quality care at the CRF Champs Elysées.
During the evening, the various speakers discussed a range of topics, including
- relations between the CHSF and the CRF Champs Elysées
- neurological management of stroke
- medical care at the CRF Champs Elysées
- strategic speech therapy interventions for language and swallowing disorders
- neuropsychological approach to cognitive rehabilitation
- optimisation of functional recovery through physiotherapy
- occupational therapy approaches to maximise daily autonomy
- the importance of adapted physical activity in rehabilitation
This exceptional evening was made possible thanks to the support of theAgence Régionale de Santé 91, the Centre Hospitalier Sud Francilien, the Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées andADAPT, all key players in the field of health and rehabilitation.
